Rain Cap dia 125mm - Black
Our range of 125mm black rain caps are made with the finest materials and they are manufactured by a reputable company, known as TWPro. The rain cap is fitted to the top of the flue system which effectively prevents water from coming down the flue. This is ideal for use on oil or solid fuel appliances in non-open areas. In addition, these chimney caps come with a guarantee of 12 years.
This item comes with a FREE locking band.
Application
Our 125mm rain caps are suitable for use with twin wall, insulated flue pipes that have an external diameter of 175mm. You can use this chimney cap on solid fuel and gas or oil appliances, including wood stoves, gas coal effect fires, oil boilers, and any other solid fuel appliances. A locking band is provided with all of the parts that require a band for safe and secure connections.
Construction
This 125mm chimney cap has an outer skin that is constructed with 304-grade stainless steel and it is 0.4mm thick. This is then powder coated in a high temperature black finish. The inner skin of the cap is made from 316-grade stainless steel and it is also 0.4mm thick. It uses compressed rockwool as insulation which gives it a density of 128kg per cubic metre. All parts are fully welded and the distance to combustibles should be 60mm.
Installation
Our black rain caps come with a locking band to secure the chimney parts together. Please ensure that you keep a safe distance of 60mm from the outside of the flue to any combustible materials, such as wood or plaster board.
