These Terms and Conditions explain your rights and obligations. Please read them carefully. You may have other rights granted by law and these Terms and Conditions do not affect these except if the two are inconsistent. If this is the case then these Terms and Conditions will override any other rights which you may have, unless this is not permitted by law.

Purchasing from us

To purchase from us you must be over 18.

By submitting your order you are agreeing to buy the goods (the contract) and allowing us to use your personal details (including passing your details on to couriers and other subcontractors). You may ask that your details be removed from our system by contacting our head office (contact). For further details please see our privacy policy.

If you discover you have made a mistake with your order please contact us within 48 hours.  After this time, if production has commenced, we will be unable to rectify any mistakes.

The contract

The contract between us shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.

We may change these Terms and Conditions from time to time without giving you notice. Changes will apply to any subsequent orders received.

Prices

All  prices exclude VAT which will be added at the checkout stage where applicable (currently 20% for European countries).

We reserve the right to alter prices at any time.

Payment

We require payments in £ (pounds) Sterling unless an alternative method of payment has been agreed in advance. Payments to be made by either cheque, credit card or BACS. All payments will be cleared before goods are despatched.

Ownership of Goods

Title in the goods will remain with Cowl Fitting Services Ltd until such time as payment has been received in full of all monies owed to Cowl Fitting Services Ltd at any time by the buyer.

Overseas Orders

Customs 

Any customs or import duties are levied once the package reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. You are advised to contact your local customs office for further information.

Unfortunately Cowl Fitting Services Ltd cannot be held accountable for delays in customs clearance. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Returns and claims Policy

It is the policy of Cowl Fitting Services Ltd to ensure that all goods are supplied to our customers in perfect condition and that every possible precaution is taken to protect the integrity of the product that is sold.  Each package is checked prior to being despatched.

We regret that we are unable to accept the return for refund of custom made items such unless they are faulty.

Faulty or incorrect goods: must be returned at the senders expense to Cowl Fitting Services Ltd before any claim can be considered.  If the goods are found to be faulty or not made to the customers specification, Cowl Fitting Services Ltd will repair, replace or offer a refund at its sole discretion.  Under these circumstances the customer will be reimbursed the cost of the return carriage.

Credit Card Security - Security and data transmission of payment card details.

The card details that you enter on the website are not accessible by us but transmitted in a secure encoded form to our payment service providers: SAGEPAY or Paypal.

Delivery

All orders are sent by courier and require a signature on receipt.  It is important to leave a delivery address where somebody will be present to receive and sign for the goods.  Redelivery may incur extra carriage charges.

Goods are normally despatched within 2 weeks.  International orders are generally received in under 28 days.

A receipted invoice will be posted to you (separate from your order) at the time the goods are despatched.  You must notify us in writing of non-delivery of goods within seven days of the invoice date for UK delivery.

Damage or shortages to be notified within 48 hours of receipt of goods. We will acknowledge all such notifications received.
